The Sino-German joint block seminars organized by the IRTG AMAIZE-P, alternately held in China and Germany, are the core element of the educational programme where participants and supervisors from China and Germany come together. Each block seminar consists of two parts: (i) The first part is dominated by presentations and discussions of the research progress of each doctoral researcher. (ii) The second part of each block seminar has an individual thematic or methodological focus related to the four Subject Areas of the IRTG, where invited international experts (two or three per block seminar) give lectures, workshops and/or conduct exercises. Thereby, the block seminars advance interdisciplinary networking and broaden the scientific horizon of the doctoral researchers.
The block seminars are open for:
the AMAIZE-P (post-)doctoral researchers as well as for external (post-)doctoral researchers from our cooperation projects.
